Oh it is so the weekend!
Finally, the weather here is more summer-like, after about 3 weeks of rain! Of course, that makes up for the very very minimal rain we got in May...My poor garden!

Um, anyway, onto art stuff! In my zombietoes shop this weekend are some new and rather adorable ACEOs.
A quick biology lesson- Cuttlefish are cephalopods (related to squid and octopi) with 8 stubby tentacles and two longer tentacles with spade like fins on the ends. Generally these fins are sharp or toothed, as they are used to catch prey and reel it in so the stubby leggs can grab on and the cuttlefish can feed.
They can change colors as a chameleon does for hunting, mating, and feeding. They are edible and are served as dishes in many Asian countries.
The Cuttlefish miniseries lies within my Cartoon Aquarium series...
These guys are all original acrylic paintings in ACEO/art card format (2.5" x 3.5") on canvas. There are 4 of them at the moment, to see them all, please click on the link below the picture:

Now, I am off to get some actual stuff done...I've got two new dragon paintings sketched out, needing color!
