"Hank" the starfish and new mermaid tags
Oh, I am sooo back from the dead! It is sad to me the extent of my dependence on the internet.
At least I do work while I am here. And now that I have justified to myself that it's okay to want and have internet, I have some new art for y'all!
I will start by showing off the newest addition to my "Cartoon Aquarium" series- low brow cartoon sea creatures that make me laugh. There is no purpose behind them other than smiles.
"Hank" is the newest member- a little yellow starfish with cheeks you just want to pinch! "Hank" is an original acrylic painting on a 5" x 7" stretched canvas. He is available for purchase in my zombietoes shop!

Now, in my infinite week of not having internet at my fingertips, I have had to occupy myself with my great stash of papers and fabrics. I have gone and made up some new mermaid scrapbooking tags, in sets of 5 with tassels!
These are really nice to use for gift giving, tiny bookmarks, Martha Stewart-esque home decor (like lamp pulls and I dont really know what else cuz I just live with a bunch of art supplies). To see all the sets I have in stock, just follow the link below the picture:

Also, I have been anxiously awaiting the new issue of Faerie Magazine, so I can see myself in real live print for the first time ever! I think it comes out really really soon, but not soon enough for my inner child. She has the patience and attention span of a gnat. Maybe I should feed her less sugar.
While waiting, I thought she and I would have a little fun with the sewing machine, so I have been working on some all fabric mixed media fantasy ACEOs! I have missed making them, but man is it hard to sew that small! I am sure over the weekend I will have at least one listed for auction on eBay (probably tomorrow).
But for now, I gotta get some cleaning done! Happy Saturday!
